DURHAM, N.C.—The Duke men’s lacrosse team has vaulted into the No. 1 spot in the latest USILA poll on the strength of its three commanding victories to start 2018. The Blue Devils are No. 1 for the first time in the regular season since the Feb. 24, 2014 poll.
Duke, ranked second in the USILA preseason poll, jumped previous No. 1 Maryland after winning each of its first three games by at least 10 goals. The Blue Devils are averaging 18.33 goals per game and allowing just six.
Maryland comes in at No. 2, Albany third and Denver fourth.
