CONWAY, S.C. – After a doubleheader split on Sunday, the Duke baseball program earned the opening weekend series win against Coastal Carolina at Spring Brooks Stadium in Conway, S.C.
"Today really showed me a lot of toughness," head coach Chris Pollard said of his squad. "You don't really know what to expect going into a new year. You're going on the road and playing a perennial power."
Duke (2-1) was led by junior RJ Schreck in the first game of the doubleheader after he went 1-for-3 with a home run.
