GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Duke men’s golf team shot 284 (-4) as a group on Monday to put the finishing touches on its finest performance of the season and cap its fall slate in style, winning the Bridgestone Golf Collegiate at Grandover Resort by four strokes.
The Blue Devils outlasted Iowa State with a total of 834 (-30), marking the second-best 54-hole score in program history in relation to par. Duke shot 267 (-21) in Sunday’s second round, shattering the previous program 18-hole records by both score and par.
The victory is Duke’s 16th under the direction of head coach Jamie Green, extending his hold on third place on the program’s coaching wins chart.
