After a huge upset victory at #5 UNC, two Duke Women’s Soccer players were honored as ACC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week. Sophomore forward/midfielder Imani Dorsey was named co-offensive player of the week with Makenzy Doniak of Virginia, and junior midfielder/defender Christina Gibbons was named the defensive player of the week.
In Duke’s first win over North Carolina in 10 years, Dorsey scored the only goal of the game in the Blue Devils’ 1-0 victory. Her goal was also the first goal Duke had even scored against their rival since 2010.
