Duke’s Thrilling Successful Start
Through two matches this season, Duke has defeated Elon 4-3 and No. 24 Arizona State 4-3 … Against Elon, junior Nick Stachowiak came back from being down 6-3 in set one to win, 3-6, 6-3, 6-0, and giving the Blue Devils the victory … Against ASU, the Blue Devils trailed 3-0 with match point on the line before senior Vincent Lin, Stachowiak, sophomore Sean Sculley and junior Spencer Furman all defeated their opponents in three sets to improve Duke’s record to 2-0.
