Tre Jones comes into the Duke Basketball program as the No. 17 ranked freshman according to ESPN, but the freshman just received his first honor of the season, being named to the Bob Cousy Award Watch List.
The Basketball Hall of Fame Bob Cousy Award is given to the top point guard in the country at the end of the season.
Tre Jones, the brother of former Duke Basketball star and National Champion Tyus Jones, will assume the starting point guard duties for Duke barring injury.
Along with Jones, fellow ACC opponents Ky Bowman, Ty Jerome, and Justin Robinson were also named to the watch list.
