Two games that fans knew were on the 2019-20 non-conference schedule for the Duke Blue Devils but now the opponents are known for the Empire Classic.
Duke will head north to Madison Square Garden to face the California Golden Bears in the Blue Devils’ opening game of the Empire Classic on November 21, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.
Mike Krzyzewski‘s square will face the winner/loser of the other opening round game, the Texas Longhorns or Georgetown Hoyas, depending on the Blue Devils’ result against Cal.
The second Duke game of the Empire Classic would be on November 22.
