A few weeks ago, it was still too early to panic.
Then came this past week.
Five-star guard Bryan Antoine — 100 percent of 247Sports’ recruiting experts predicted he would become a Blue Devil — picked Villanova. A few days later, five-star guard Nico Mannion cut two teams, including Duke, from his list.
While “state of panic” might not be the right phrase to describe the current zero-commitments predicament that the Duke coaches are currently facing, it is a better description for the moment than “no reason to worry.
