R.J. Barrett‘s greatness was on display this past week and he has been recognized as the ACC’s Freshman of the Week.
Starting on Wednesday night when Zion Williamson went down against North Carolina, Barrett looked like the only Duke player ready to step up and try and lead the Blue Devils to victory.
Against the Tar Heels, scored 33 points and got 13 rebounds to go along with four assists. on 11-of-22 shooting, despite the Blue Devils loss.
The 33 points on Wednesday from R.J. Barrett were the most points by any Duke freshman in his first game against North Carolina as well as his sixth double-double on the season.
