Duke is dipping its toes in the transfer portal waters once again as the Blue Devils have reportedly reached out to Florida transfer point guard Andrew Nembhard after he withdrew his name from the 2020 NBA Draft and announced his decision to transfer from the Gators.
Nembhard would have to sit out of the 2020-21 season but would still have two years of eligibility remaining, starting in the 2021-22 campaign.
Currently on its roster Duke has point guard Jordan Goldwire and Jeremy Roach, both who may not be around in the following season.
Goldwire, a senior, will be graduating next May and Roach, a freshman, is a prime candidate to be an entry in the 2021 NBA Draft as a Top-15 selection.
