Like many others around the country, Duke basketball senior Javin DeLaurier ended his college basketball career on a note that no one expected.
However, the ACC and NCAA Tournaments were all set up for him to leave his final mark as he did perform well in bigger games.
The biggest thing with DeLaurier, much like many other role players for Duke, was consistency.
Effort, heart, energy, and intensity were never an issue. And I mean never.
If there was a Duke Hall of Fame for playing with effort, the Shipman, Virginia native would be voted in on the first ballot, but sometimes his effort would get him into trouble, especially in terms of fouling.
