Duke freshman Brandon Ingram was awarded with the ACC Freshman of the Week award for the second consecutive week and the third time so far this season after dominant performances in two Duke Basketball conference games.
Ingram played a huge role for the Blue Devils, helping the team earn wins over Wake Forest and Virginia Tech while averaging 16.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.0 steals, and 5.0 blocks for those two games last week in addition to shooting 45% overall and 45.5% from 3. The 5-star freshman has looked great since the ACC season began, continuing to get tougher and excel in his new role at power forward while Amile Jefferson remains out with a foot injury.
