COVID-19 was the reason why the Blue Devils didn’t have the opportunity to reach the postseason in back to back seasons as Duke was disqualified from the ACC Tournament after finding a positive test prior to its quarterfinal game against Florida State.
Should the Blue Devils found a way to defeat the Seminoles, it’s very likely that Mike Krzyzewski would have been in the NCAA Tournament, instead of watching at home for the first time since 1995.
