A former Duke basketball player and assistant coach is returning to the bench.
It has been two years since former Duke basketball player and assistant coach Steve Wojciechowski was the head coach of the Marquette Golden Eagles but now he is returning to the sidelines.
ESPN’s senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported last week that Wojciechowsk will be making his return as a head coach and it will be for the Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G-League affiliate of the Utah Jazz.
Wojciechowski, more commonly referred to as ‘Wojo’, amassed a 128-95 career record in seven seasons with the Golden Eagles in which he led the program to two NCAA Tournaments and an NIT berth, however Marquette had not reached the postseason in final two seasons under the former Blue Devil assistant.
