Rumors and speculation have been running wild surrounding Duke basketball recruiting prospect Cooper Flagg for the last month and if he would reclassify from the Class of 2025 into 2024 and now the country has its answer.
Flagg took to social media on Friday to announce his intentions to become a member of the Class of 2024 and his caption was simple, “Why wait.”
The biggest reason the 6-foot-8 forward decided to make the jump was he is old enough to enter the 2025 NBA Draft and remaining in the 2025 recruiting class meant that he wouldn’t be able to begin his professional career until 2026.
