The Blue Devils struggled with shooting the ball for much of the night, but Wake Forest was unable to capitalize due to 18 turnovers that led to 19 Duke points. Despite shooting just 28% in the first half, Duke still went to halftime with a 35-34 lead.
The cold shooting continued to begin the 2nd half and Wake Forest eventually grabbed a 3-point lead, but the Blue Devils started to find an offensive groove and used a 12-2 run to put the game out of reach down the stretch.
As has been the case so many times this season, Duke was led by Grayson Allen, who scored a game-high 30 points and went 14-of-19 from the free throw line.
