Although most experts have long viewed the Duke basketball program to be in the best position to snag a commitment from B.J. Boston, a familiar foe on the recruiting trail has recently made its way into the discussion by ramping up its recruiting efforts.
Kentucky offered the five-star 2020 shooting guard a scholarship last weekend at the end of his unofficial visit to Lexington. And then on Wednesday night, according to a tweet from 247Sports’ Evan Daniels, at least one member of the Wildcats’ staff was in attendance to watch Boston play.
What this means is that Kentucky coach John Calipari is by no means conceding victory to Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski in the race for the 6-foot-6, 175-pound Atlanta native.
