Despite seven scholarship players on the current Duke basketball roster being underclassmen, only three of them are likely to be on the 2020-21 roster: Alex O’Connell, Jordan Goldwire, and Joey Baker (current freshmen Zion Williamson, R.J. Barrett, Cam Reddish, and Tre Jones are sure to be in the NBA, likely all in their second season, at that time).
And of the three incoming 2019 commits, Vernon Carey Jr. is a near lock to bolt to the NBA after next season, and Wendell Moore also has the potential to be a one-and-done college player.
