The first game of a crucial four game stretch for the Duke Baseball team was a major success as the Blue Devils got a little revenge on the Texas Tech Red Raiders Tuesday night with a 13-6 victory in Durham.
The Red Raiders knocked the Blue Devils out of the NCAA Tournament last season in the Lubbock Super Regional to go to the College World Series.
However, the script was flipped on Tuesday as Duke grabbed the lead in the bottom of the first inning with two runs and never looked back.
Texas Tech would draw close with a run in the top of the second, but that’s as close as the Red Raiders would get all night.
