DURHAM, N.C. - Duke Athletics continues to pay tribute to the university's Centennial this fall, hosting celebrations at eight home sports events in recognition of 100 years since Trinity College became Duke University.
Duke kicked off its Centennial celebration on Jan. 9, with a day of events highlighting the people, groups and achievements at Duke over the past 100 years. Duke has used this historic milestone to deepen the understanding of its history, inspire pride and strengthen bonds and partnerships, and prepare for a second century of continued excellence and impactful leadership.
