Duke will open the football season with the Bull City Gridiron Classic game against N.C. Central at 6 p.m. at Wallace Wade Stadium on Sept. 2.
The date and opponent was already known but the school announced the starting time on Wednesday.
The Blue Devils will remain close to home as they play four of their first five games at home. The only road trip is to North Carolina for a Sept. 23 game. The ACC has not determined a starting time for that game at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill.
