SPARKS, Md. – Former Blue Devil Sarah Bullard has been named to the 18-player U.S. women’s national team that will compete in the 2017 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Women’s World Cup July 12-22 in Guildford, England.
The roster was selected from a 25-player World Cup Training Team announced in October by national team head coach Ricky Fried. That squad most recently took the field at the Team USA Spring Premiere at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., posting victories over Florida and Notre Dame.
Bullard is one of just two players on the 18-player roster who will be competing in their third World Cup, joining former Dartmouth goalkeeper Devon Wills.
