GREENSBORO, N.C. – It was raining three-pointers in the Greensboro Coliseum Wednesday evening as the No. 11 seeded Duke women’s basketball team hit a season-high 12 as the Blue Devils took down 14th-seeded Pittsburgh, 86-64, in the first round of the ACC Tournament in Greensboro, N.C.
Four different Blue Devils reached double-digit scoring led by freshman Miela Goodchild with 19 points, while redshirt junior Haley Gorecki had 16, senior Faith Suggs turned in a career-high 16 points and sophomore Jayda Adams added a career-high 15.
