The Blue Devils have secured a commitment from 5th year senior guard Jacob Grandison. The 6’6 guard rounds out the Blue Devil roster and gives the Blue Devils a proven shooter in the backcourt. Grandison also provides a level of toughness to a young roster in dire need.
Hailing from the Oakland area, Grandison played his first 2 years at Holy Cross before transferring to Illinois where he raised his level of play as he moved up a level in competition. An All-Academic selection this past season, Grandison started 23 games for Illinois and played in 30. He suffered a shoulder injury in March that limited his play for the rest of the season.
