KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Six Duke divers reached event finals Monday to open competition at the 2018 NCAA Zone B Diving Championships, hosted by Tennessee at the Volunteers’ Allan Jones Aquatic Center.
On the three-meter springboard, freshman Teddy Zeng impressed in his Zone diving debut. The Hong Kong, China native was seventh overall with 705.75 points over two rounds of action. Zeng carried over 335.55 points from his preliminaries performance and topped the 60-point mark on five of his six dives in finals. His finals list included a reverse 2.5 somersault in the fifth round that received an award of 72.
