DURHAM, N.C. – Duke reached bowl eligibility with its sixth victory of the 2018 season Saturday night, taking down Miami, 20-12.
Redshirt senior tight end Daniel Helm hauled in a two-yard scoring pass from backup quarterback Quentin Harris with 18 seconds left in the third period to provide the go-ahead points in the Blue Devils’ win. The victory was Duke's first at Miami since 1976 and first over the Hurricanes since 2013. In addition, the Blue Devils snapped Miami’s 13-game home winning streak.
