Former Wake Forest head coach and more recently Louisville assistant Dino Gaudio pleaded guilty to extortion in June and is expected to get a year of probation and a fine.
As you may recall, Gaudio threatened to expose NCAA violations in Chris Mack’s Cardinal program unless he was paid.
So while he’ll have a record he’s not going to jail. Now though he may be settling some scores.
There are some some revelations in some new court documents to process. Gaudio had previously alleged some relatively minor NCAA violations but given Louisville’s recent NCAA issues, there is no such thing as minor right now.
