BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Fencing at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional Saturday at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pa., 13 of Duke’s 23 competing fencers qualified for the final round, including seven that notched top-10 finishes. Leading the way was sophomore Pascual Di Tella capturing second in the men’s saber competition.
In the final pool, Di Tella logged a record of 8-3 and a +15 indicator to capture runner-up honors to record the highest finish at the event by a Blue Devil. It was also the top mark of his career, besting his seventh-place showing last season as a freshman.
