DURHAM, N.C. – Duke closed out the final day of the 2017 ACC Fencing Championships Sunday with junior Pascual Di Tella claiming the men’s saber title.
In the men’s saber competition, Di Tella and freshman Agoston Walter advanced to the semifinals after posting records of 11-2 and 9-4, respectively, in pool play. Di Tella entered the semifinals as the No. 1 seed and battled teammate and No. 4 seed Walter, with Di Tella gaining the 15-7 win to advance to the championship bout.
