Syracuse always has a decided advantage in the ACC in that they are always the outlier team, the uniqueness of their zone isn’t something many teams have to deal with much over the course of a season. It’s not easy to duplicate the Orange zone in practice and Duke looked iffy at times against it in their 97-88 win versus the Orange Saturday Night. One player that last showed he could be a zone buster was junior Alex O;Connell but it was hard to imagine O’Connell getting minutes considering the last 3 games the shooting guard had logged just 8 minutes combined.
