DURHAM, N.C. – Sophomore Paul Dellinger earned his first accolade of the fall season, garnering Duke Student-Athlete of the Week recognition for his performance over the weekend which helped the Blue Devils men’s squad earn a first-place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn.
For the second consecutive meet of the season, Dellinger was the first Duke runner to cross the finish line, posting a time of 24:47.3 to place eighth overall in the 152-man field. His eighth-place overall finish led the way for the Blue Devils, helping them secure a first-place team win in a highly competitive 15-team field which included six teams ranked in the top 15 of their respective regions.
