CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Duke’s defense amassed 12.0 blocks and 62 digs to limit Miami to .124 hitting in the Blue Devils’ 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-18) road sweep Friday evening at the Knight Sports Complex.
Junior middle blocker Jordan Tucker matched her season high with seven blocks, while redshirt senior setter Maggie Deichmeister added five and freshman middle blocker Leah Meyer contributed four. Duke (15-12, 10-7 ACC) reached double-digit blocks as a team for the ninth time this season.
“The block did a great job waiting so we could get some touches,” said head coach Jolene Nagel.
