DURHAM, N.C.— Over the summer, Duke teammates Schuyler DeBree and Imani Dorsey helped lead the Washington Spirit Reserves to its first W-League Championship in Laval, Quebec, Canada. The squad netted a 2-1 victory over the Colorado Pride to claim the title.
Both DeBree and Dorsey were key components to the success of the team that posted a 9-0-3 record on the season. Dorsey earned W-League Rookie of the Year, after ranking 11th in the league in points (18) and tied ninth in goals (8). DeBree played in 841 minutes, which was second on the team, and notched one assist in 10 matches.
