DURHAM – Senior Claire Davidson selected as a finalist for the 2024 Honda Sport Award for Softball, as announced by Chris Voelz, Executive Director of THE Collegiate Women in Sports Award (CWSA).
Davidson joins Jocelyn Erickson of Florida, Reese Atwood of Texas and NiJaree Canady of Stanford as finalists for the coveted award.
Davidson concluded her final season in Durham in strong fashion, guiding the Blue Devils to the program's first Women's College World Series appearance over the weekend. She led the offense in batting average (.436), home runs (18), doubles (20), runs scored (62) and RBI (67).
