DURHAM, N.C.— Duke University men’s lacrosse head coach John Danowski has been selected as the head coach of the 2018 U.S. Men’s National Team as announced by US Lacrosse today A three-time NCAA champion coach, Danowski will lead Team USA’s pursuit of a record 10th gold medal at the 2018 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Championship in Manchester, England.
Danowski, beginning his 10th season at the helm of the lacrosse program, has led the Blue Devils to new heights. He owns an impressive 140-38 overall record in his nine years at Duke, has captured seven ACC regular-season titles and four conference tournament crowns and led the Blue Devils to NCAA championships in 2010, 2013 and 2014.
