BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Graduate student Nick Dahl wrapped up action for the Duke track and field program at the 2022 NCAA Indoor Championships Saturday afternoon, earning first team All-America status in the men's mile final.
Competing amid some of the nation's elite runners, Dahl raced to a 4:07.78 finish, which was good for sixth among the field. The Philadelphia, Pa., native sixth-place finish in the event marked the first time since 2015 that the Duke men scored points at the national meet and made him the first individual to do so since Curtis Beach in 2014.
