BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Graduate student Nick Dahl's qualification in the 1500m for the NCAA Outdoor Championships highlighted day three at the NCAA East Regional for the Duke men's track and field team.
Competing in the opening track event of the evening for the Blue Devils, Dahl punched his ticket to the NCAA Outdoor Championships, leaving no doubt as he clocked the fourth-fastest overall time of the field at 3:39.78 to earn an automatic qualifier.
Freshman Beck Wittstadt gave a valiant effort in the 800m race, but saw a sensational rookie campaign come to an end.
