SANTIAGO – Former Duke field hockey standouts Leah Crouse and Jillian Wolgemuth are headed to the Pan American Games semifinals with the U.S. Women's National Team following a second-place finish in Pool A after group action concluded Monday evening.
The 15th-ranked U.S. Women's National Team captured wins over Trinidad & Tobago (15-0) and No. 25 Uruguay (3-0) to take second behind group winner No. 3 Argentina.
Behind a three goal second quarter, the United States secured the second-place finish in Pool A and a spot in the semifinals.
With the victory against Uruguay, the USWNT will play No.
