This is pretty interesting: Cameron Crazies are trying to raise money to bring former UMBC point guard KJ Maura to Cameron for the Virginia game.
Maura, now playing pro ball in Puerto Rico, seems game. But Duke fans might want to stop and think about this. Cavalier Kyle Guy is urging Virginia support and somebody at least calling himself Tony Bennett donated $20.00.
It’s a funny stunt but will it have any impact at all? Probably not, at least not any that will help Duke.
We don't know if the basketball office has gotten wind of it yet but their reaction may not be as positive either if they, like us, think this would tend to help rather than hurt Virginia.
