DURHAM – The honors keep rolling in for Duke women's soccer sophomore Michelle Cooper. On Wednesday, Cooper was named the United Soccer Coaches Division I Player of the Week.
A day earlier, Cooper was selected the TopDrawerSoccer and College Soccer News National Player of the Week, while also earning ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Cooper registered four goals and two assists for 10 points as fifth-ranked Duke defeated Boston College (3-0) and No. 22 NC State (6-0). On the road at NC State on Sunday, Cooper opened the scoring in the sixth minute with a blast from 30 yards, then added a second goal just 45 seconds into the second half to give the Blue Devils a 3-0 lead against the Wolfpack.
