KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Duke freshman Michelle Cooper has been named one of 15 semifinalists for the 2021 MAC Hermann Trophy, as announced today by United Soccer Coaches and the Missouri Athletic Club (MAC).
The MAC Hermann Trophy, presented by World Wide Technology, is the most coveted individual honor in NCAA Division I soccer and has been awarded annually since 1967.
A native of Clarkston, Mich., Cooper established herself as one of the nation's top offensive talents during her freshman campaign. The forward tied for second in goals (12) and fifth in points (29) among all freshmen nationally, while ranking in the top five in the ACC in each category.
