DURHAM – Duke women's soccer freshman Michelle Cooper and fencing junior Finn Hossfeld were selected PNC's Achievers of the Year for 2021-22.
In her debut season this past fall, Cooper put together perhaps the most decorated freshman campaign in Duke women's soccer history. The Clarkston, Mich., native scored 12 goals – a Blue Devil freshman record – and recorded 29 points to rank fifth in the ACC and fifth among all freshmen nationally. She was named the ACC Freshman of the Year, becoming the fourth player in program history and first since 2012 to earn the honor.
