DURHAM, N.C. – Following a month-long leave of absence, head coach Mike Krzyzewski returned to the court for the team’s game against Pittsburgh after recovering from surgery to remove a fragment of a herniated disc. Coach K reclaimed the reins following Duke’s pair of crucial ACC road victories, and proceeded to lead the Blue Devils past a tough Panthers squad.
With much of Duke anticipating his return, Coach K took time to discuss both the anticipation felt leading up to his reappearance, as well as the appreciation he has for the opportunity to continue the journey of coaching after winning what he calls, “the occupational lottery.
