DURHAM, N.C. – Men’s basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski has always preached involvement in one’s community.
On Wednesday, Coach K took time to attend and speak at North Carolina Central’s 2017 Basketball Tip Off Banquet at the McDougald-McLendon Arena, home of the Eagles.
As a part of fostering the relationships he has established with North Carolina Central’s head coach LeVelle Moton and Chancellor Johnson O. Akinleye, Coach K spoke to an audience rooted in the traditions of Durham.
“I’ve seen Durham grow,” Krzyzewski said. “I think it’s the best city in North Carolina.
