CLEMSON, S.C. – The Duke volleyball team dropped a five-set decision to Clemson 3-2 (15-25, 27-25, 25-23, 30-32, 4-15) Friday evening at Jervey Gym in Clemson, S.C.
With the loss, Duke drops to 8-12 and are 1-6 in conference play.
Sophomore Ade Owokoniran paced the Blue Devils with 24 kills and just six errors to hit .360 percent and added two digs and four blocks. The 24 kills mark the third 20+ kill performance for the sophomore. Rookie Gracie Johnson added 14 kills while setter Sarah Nelson dished 35 assists.
