Well here’s some nice news: Carlos Boozer, who left Duke after his junior year just a bit short of graduation for a long and successful NBA career (he played from 2002-2015) has been doing summer school and is now a proud Duke graduate.
At Duke, Boozer was a solid if undervalued player. He was on a team with Jason Williams, Mike Dunleavy and Shane Battier, and also played with Chris Carrawell and Chris Duhon. He always played hard but those guys, especially Williams and Battier, really drew attention, not least of all after an impressive run to the NCAA title when Boozer was injured late in the season and missed much of the tournament.
