DURHAM, N.C. -- The conference office named senior Beatrice Capra ACC Player of the Week Tuesday following stellar performances in both singles and doubles action over the weekend that led to the 16th-ranked Duke women’s tennis team securing a spot in the 2016 ITA National Women’s Team Indoor Championships. The weekly accolade marks the seventh of the Ellicott City, Md., native’s career.
Capra played an integral role in Duke’s success on Saturday in the team’s ITA Kickoff Weekend championship match against 29th-ranked Mississippi State. Capra opened the competition by playing alongside freshman Ellyse Hamlin.
