The latest Candid Coaches column over at CBS is pretty interesting as about 75 percent of coaches support letting players profit from their name, image, and likeness.
That’s a surprising number, even for Gary Parrish, who asked the questions.
As noted here, solving one problem sometimes creates others. For instance, one coach said this: “The one big gray area I foresee is boosters who own businesses guaranteeing some number of dollars in advertising income to prospective recruits that they’ll be given to attend specific schools.”
Another echoed the basic idea: “But where does it stop?
