Former Duke basketball player Greg Paulus was chosen to help pick up the pieces of the broken Louisville basketball program, according to a report in the Louisville Courier-Journal.
Paulus, who most recently was an assistant coach at Ohio State until head coach Thad Motta was fired in June, was hired to become the second assistant hired by interim Louisville coach David Padgett.
The 31-year-old was the second addition to Padgett’s staff since his appointment on Sept. 29, joining former LSU, Nevada, Stanford and TCU coach Trent Johnson, who was hired as an assistant last week.
