Cam Reddish is finally ready to join the Atlanta Hawks on the court after getting cleared to participate in training camp.
The No. 10 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft underwent procedure to have a core muscle injury fixed prior to the draft and the anticipated timeline was for the former Duke Blue Devil to be fully cleared in six weeks.
The Atlanta Hawks released medical updates on Friday morning saying Reddish will participate in training camp, but his management will be monitored leading up to the regular season.
Prior to the procedure it was reported that the injury had been bothering Reddish throughout his one season at Duke after he suffered a rib injury in preseason practice and sat out of the Blue Devils’ Sweet 16 victory due to an injury.
